Lykke Hinsch Gylvin

Chief Medical Officer, Head of Global Medicine, Boehringer Ingelheim

Dr. Lykke Hinsch Gylvin brings more than 20 years of pharmaceutical leadership experience to her role as Chief Medical Officer and Head of Global Medicine at Boehringer Ingelheim. Lykke leads a multicultural team spread across the world, driving clinical development and strategy for the company’s portfolio and pipeline, equipped with her unique expertise spanning all phases of pharmaceutical product development, from early-stage efforts to post-approval life cycle management.

Prior to joining Boehringer Ingelheim, she served as Vice President and Global Medical Franchise Head of Neuroscience & Ophthalmology at Novartis. She has also held key roles at other leading pharmaceutical companies, including AstraZeneca, Roche and Novo Nordisk.

Lykke holds an M.D. from the University of Copenhagen and an executive MBA from the SBS Swiss Business School.

Raised in Denmark, Lykke has lived and worked in seven different countries.
