Emily Bachman

Since joining TransCelerate’s Integrated Leadership team in 2022, Emily has been a dedicated advocate for our mission, bringing extensive industry expertise, strategic insight, and a collaborative mindset to advance our initiatives. Over her 13 years at Astellas, Emily has held several key roles in research and development of strategic business operations. She is currently the Executive Director of Clinical Data Science Business and Operations Management. 

Before joining Astellas, Emily held various positions at other TransCelerate member companies, including Boehringer Ingelheim, Pfizer, and Merck. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ohio University and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from the University at Buffalo. 

As chair of the TransCelerate Oversight Committee, Emily leads and champions the work of the portfolio teams and the effort to converge clinical research and clinical care.
